In this episode we are introduced to Ray, a recent parolee and the newest member of the Black Comedy writing and performing team, recruited as part of the ABC's Bridging The Gap Program. Unfortunately Ray's enthusiasm for his new job doesn't quite extend to his new colleagues - and things start to get a little awkward around the office, until an incident with a brick sees Ray back behind bars. We meet the Thong Mum and her daughter Selina. No matter where she may be the second Selina steps out of line she can expect to feel the wrath of her mother's boomerang-like thong. When ROOTS hits the air and the Community finally sees just how bad slavery was, Al Sharpton whips everyone into a rep-aration frenzy and they storm Beverly Hills, enslaving every white honky cracker they can find. But Black Dynamite sees that since you can't even keep white slaves alive without caviar and arugula, being slave masters is actually bringing the Community down. Is Black Dynamite actually going to fight for the White Man's freedom?

In Siculiana, a small Sicilian town full of flaking facades, religiosity is lived out as a matter of course. And of course the figure of Jesus Christ worshipped here is black, and always has been. However, some people cannot get used to their dark-skinned neighbours in the refugee camp. The camera accompanies locals and stranded people along their paths, which often lead to the church, but not necessarily together, and draws a kind of map of the city in black-on-black contrasts.

The story of the year-and-a-half of Luisita and Amelia

The sketch comedy series Black Comedy is back. It continues an acerbic, witty and altogether unapologetic comedic exploration of what it means to be black in contemporary Australia. In tonight's first episode, we meet Mark, a Torres Strait Islander man marooned on a desert island with the two whitest white people ever, encounter the Bondi Blackfella, an Indigenous lifesaver with an aversion to the sea, revisit Blakforce, and meet a girl with a challenging dying wish.

Manipulative Dena Thompson deceives her husbands through fraud and violence, leaving them emotionally and financially devastated until police uncover her twisted criminal scheme.
